Colour palette and brief.

I have used the colour palette throughout my logo and album covers. I only used the gradients and mostly used orange for my main colour. In my brief, I also put my main subject matters for my album covers and poster 

Logo Design

I first created cutouts to create any ideas on how my logo would be. I rearranged and created new shapes. But I mostly took inspiration from the two circles and one-line shapes. I thought of it as headphones then it came to my idea that a globe with headphones would look cool as a logo. 

I further expanded my idea and thought to myself colors would look good in my idea so I added gradients and created my final logo.

Album Covers 

 

I mostly took inspirations from different artists for example one artist used greek statues that are cutout and looks like it's floating. I used that idea to also apply it to my design. My ideas from the generation also came from the logo design. They mostly consist of having played with gradients and different colors. In my development, I combined some of my generations to create 3 pieces. For my final, i combined the aspects of my development and came up with a final deisgn

How many series of work are you planning?     2

What can you tell me about how they extend upon your kaupapa? Since I'm doing a music label, doing posters and shirts is a great way of promoting an artist. 

How? The posters will have the same look as each of the album covers I made

What links can you tell me you are making to your artist models? I'm trying to adapt the way they format and style their works
